She also notes that mobile vaccination sites have been successful in bringing vaccines to those who couldn't travel to get them

He reminds visitors and citizens to still be thoughtful with how they act, including wearing face coverings in some situations 

If California were its own country, it'd rank 9th in the world in terms of vaccinations Newsom says

70% percent of adults in CA have at least one dose of the vaccine

Newsom notes that California has one of the highest vaccinated rates in the U.S.

He warns that, while today is worthy of celebration, it's not a time to spike the football or say "mission: accomplished"

"It's been a tough 15 months for all of us"

However, he notes that there exceptions to these updated rules
